Lesson 6: Ebooks on Ebscohost

What a beautiful day! 1.)I searched in "find any of my search terms" the Eukanuba Dog Show. Many of the books I located were in full text. I could download offline. A fun find title: Dog Lover's Guide to Dating: Using Cold Noses to Find Warm Hearts
(2004). From what I understand I can sort by relevance, set up alert/save/share and set up email alerts and the ebook lists the Table of Contents. Also, 947 results were found. I love dogs!
2.)I simply typed in Constitution Day and 2120 results appeared, how big is your class and how old are your students? Quite a variety of titles from Fair Trail Rights of the Accused:A documentory History(2002). Nice touch how the most relevant pages from the ebook are given. Datapedia of the United States: American History in Numbers(2004). I like the subject area's listed.
3.)What is "PB" for PB Publisher? Curious, I used both Nebraska (88 results) and Oklahoma (82 results). Both have South Dakota titles, many of the titles list early Native American history. Many great titles, so many books, so little time. Oklahoma Press also listed: Oklahoma Travel Handbook; Guide to Oklahoma Museums and Oklahoma Place Names. Still curious, I typed in Oregon with 33 results locating history of Trailing the Pioneers:A guide to Utah's Emigrant Trails, 1829-1869(1994). This was interesting, thanks!

Thanks for your post and sharing your good finds, pub place. "PB" stands for "Publisher" in advanced search, so whatever word you type in the search box with that field selected will be a word in the publisher's name. "Oklahoma" should have resulted in books published by the University of Oklahoma, for example.
